Se avete visto Minority Report vi sarà sicuramente rimasta impressa nella memoria la scena in cui Tom Cruise getta via infastidito la scatola di cereali dotata di un’etichetta animata sulla quale alcuni personaggi fanno un casino insopportabile canticchiando il motivetto dello spot pubblicitario. Bene, aspettatevi di vederne di simili nel supermercato sotto casa nel giro di un paio d’anni, visto che Siemens sta lavorando su una versione di e-paper abbastanza economica da essere utilizzata per produrre etichette digitali da apporre sulle confezioni dei prodotti, che per ora visualizza solo una sequenza di immagini in bianco e nero. La prima versione a colori dell’etichetta-display avrà , secondo le previsioni di Siemens, una risoluzione di 80 dpi, ma l’anno successivo dovrebbe già essere pronta una versione a 160 dpi.
